Echoes of East and West

Collection of a Belgian collector

Goldfield Auction is launching a series of sales devoted to the collection of a Belgian collector, an active figure in the art market and a recognized player on the international scene.

Over several decades, he has brought together works chosen with conviction, guided by a strong taste for presence, character and quality of execution. His eye, forged by experience and nourished by assiduous attendance at major international shows, has given rise to a coherent body of work, in which each piece finds its place within a structured and personal overall vision.

The selection presented today marks the first stage in this process. It is part of a gradual approach designed to reveal the different facets of a collector's career built up with constancy and exacting standards.

Goldfield Auction is honored to contribute to a new phase in the history of this ensemble, with the attention and commitment that such a signature requires.
