Belgian work, 1920s-1930s. Set of 95 photographs on gummed paper by an unidentified Pictorialist photographer. This coherent set is distinguished by a sensitive, atmospheric approach to the image, characteristic of the Pictorialist movement. It includes two views of Montmartre in Paris, depictions of old Namur, and several scenes of rural Walloon life. Some prints are signed and monogrammed.
