Lot 29 - A rare and important Famille Rose porcelain "Hundred Deer" vase from China from the Qing dynasty (清朝) with the six-character Qianlong mark. Pan-shaped, with continuous decoration depicting a horde of deer, hinds and fallow deer in finely enamelled coats, frolicking, resting and playing in a rocky landscape. The landscape is embellished with tall, twisted pine trees, lingzhi branches and peach trees, with a river running through it and mountains looming in the background. The handles are in the form of stylised iron-red and gold dragons, with the six-character Qianlong Emperor's seal in blue underglaze on the base.
