Powder test pistol, mechanism identical to that of a flintlock pistol of the same period, with swan-neck hammer. Percussion of the hammer ignites the powder contained in a vertical cylinder, and the explosion of the powder pushes back a cover which turns a graduated notched wheel. An unusual object dating from the 18th century.
